CAROLYN BRADEN
“Heart Art”

I have been creating art since I first
learned to finger paint with pudding.
My forms of art vary, as I become restless if
too much time is spent in one media. Anything that is creative, I will do. I
hold a Bachelor's degree in Art with a concentration on Photography, and a
Master's degree in Art Education, both from the University of Louisville.
Currently an art teacher, I am inspired daily and work on my creative talents
in every spare moment I have.
My "Heart Art" was inspired by
change. Trees are great symbols of change. I love how trees can be
beautiful and bear beautiful flowers in the spring, full and rich during the
summer, colorful yet peaceful in the fall, and strong and tall in the winter.
The tree is representational of the ways we must all change to bring upon newer
and greater things, but remain strong while we patiently wait for those
things. The roots are representational of how we all must never forget
our beginnings once the wait is over.
