Keep Those Letters Coming!
In the previous June/July issue of the Calvary Connection there was an item inviting feedback on the electronic delivery of the newsletter. A number of replies were received in response to the question, “How is the Newsletter Delivery Working for You?” Among them was the following that especially may interest some long-time newsletter readers:
“…one of the things that I don’t like about receiving the Connection electronically…is that although you still read left to right, it seems as if you’re reading from top to bottom…more so than when reading, say, a book. It is only a perception as, obviously, we do read a book from top to bottom but I’m not aware of the page moving. I dislike my electronic reader for the same reason…I download a book...but instead of turning the pages I scroll…just not the same! There’s something about having a book in hand to underline, dog ear, mark, etc. (all of which—except for dog-earing—I can do on the Kindle) but it’s not the same as doing with a hard copy. Other than that…good work! I’d rather receive it via snail mail but understand the cost savings, etc. Hugs to Margaret WBO, and others who may remember me…assuming that there may be one or two.”
