SENIOR WARDENWORDS
The past year has presented numerous challenges to the Calvary community and we have successfully met those challenges because of the strength of our community and our common interest and concern- the well being of Calvary. Collectively we have done a good job of "holding down the fort" and maintaining while waiting for a new rector.
I usually associate new growth, rebirth, and the like with Easter. However, despite the oppressive heat and lushness of late summer in Louisville, we at Calvary have begun the newest chapter in our church's colorful and long life. The arrival of Fr. Erdman and his family is the embodiment of that next chapter. We are very fortunate to have him with us now, and moving forward.
We have searched, maintained, and made ready. Now we need to get on about the business of moving forward with a sense of pride and thankfulness. Take a deep breath, and roll up your sleeves. Exciting things are in store for Calvary; be part of it!
