"The love of the Scriptures and the Eucharist expressed through my teaching and preaching helps foster a celebrating community of growth and challenge responding to Jesus' call to maturity. My administrative skill provides an open and clear framework for creative and organized development. My style of pastoral care invites a mutuality and confidence as people deal with the varied events of their lives. Seeing prayer and social outreach as inseparable companions provides a model for respecting others and promoting justice. My leadership focuses on empowering people to both identify and articulate their deep yearnings for wholeness, and to practice God's presence in the midst of daily life."
